Born and raised in Valencia (Spain), Borja Bonaque began his professional illustration work in 2008, shortly after completing his Fine Arts studies.
He carried out his first assignments for agencies in his hometown and soon afterwards made the international leap, working for clients in England, France, Germany and the United States.
His illustration style engages with everyday life and is based on the synthesis of colors, adapting to advertising campaigns for brands such as Kia, Mr Porter, Deutsche Bank and Lufthansa; editorial commissions for Planeta, Penguin Random House, The Hollywood Reporter, La Vanguardia or The Financial Times, among others.
